Richard Kimber is the CEO and founder of Daisee – an Artificial Intelligence company. He was formerly the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the OFX Group.
Richard acquired an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management in 1992 and since then has utilised his advanced business knowledge as a high-level executive decision maker. He has 25 years of diverse global leadership experience that includes several Chief Executive and Board roles in Australia, Hong Kong, USA and the UK.
He worked for the HSBC Group for eight years in several ecommerce roles and was the President of online payments for North America and Global Head of Internet Marketing. He was then promoted to Chief Executive of Firstdirect Bank.
Richard became the first Regional Managing Director of Google in South East Asia, leading all of the commercial and country operations in the Region, more than doubling its multi-billion dollar revenues and managing the integration of acquired YouTube and DoubleClick businesses.
His MBA laid a foundation of extensive experience in financial services, marketing, social media and capital markets. Richard’s most recent role was Chief Operating Officer of ANZ Global Markets incorporating its leading FX business.
Throughout his career he has specialised in creating new business applications through technology innovation. He is an active investor in technology start-ups and sits on the board of RTI (internet cable) and Strone (global roaming).
