HLB Mann Judd
Jane is a senior investment professional at HLB Mann Judd Wealth and Superannuation, with extensive strategy, policy, compliance, risk and stakeholder management experience. She has responsibility for the firm’s specialist Philanthropic Services practice, offering investment and governance solutions to Not for Profit clients. Jane has undertaken the QUT MBA to deepen her understanding of disruption to business and investment, and to develop her career as a company director. She currently serves on boards and committees at PwC, Australian Unity, the Australian Medical Association (Qld), SecondBite, the Springfield Anglican College and fintech start-up The Impact Suite. Representing QUT as a semi-finalist at the Sasin Bangkok Business Challenge this year was a highlight of the MBA experience.
Stephanie has nearly two decades of professional expertise dealing with managing and leading people through her various career roles as an educator, business analyst, sustainability and project manager, management consultant, and now current director of Broad Aperture. With five degrees under her belt, including recently completing the Blockchain Strategy Program at Oxford University, Stephanie has a passion for keeping at the forefront of change and translating strategy to benefit industries and communities. As an MBA student, she spearheaded a charity project – Kinder Bleep – aimed at developing the musical interests of long-term patients at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. A highly-experienced cultural change agent, Stephanie started her first consultancy in 2011. She continues to follow her passion for leading change and disrupting industries on a global scale through developing the Research and Development Strategy, and advising on Digital Disruption for the Australian Red Meat Processing Industry.
Melanie is an accomplished business leader with a background in personal injury insurance, education, training, and people leadership. With experience in injury management and a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation, Melanie is passionate about helping others to become their best selves. As an Executive at WorkCover Queensland, Melanie’s focus is on Small Business, which make up 90% of employers in Queensland. She leads a team of 120 people to deliver an exceptional experience to customers while providing strategic direction for the planning, design and implementation of effective strategies to engage with new customers and educate small business. After studying a Master of Business Administration at the University of Queensland for two years, Melanie was awarded the 2017 UQ MBA Overall Excellence Award for the highest GPA of her cohort.
